Chancé's heritage
 | | Saint-Pierre's church | | We are informed of the Saint-Pierre church since 1136, since at that time, it depended on the famous abbey of Roë, the religious establishment most important of the Mayenne's territory. The Saint-Pierre church is built according to a plan in Latin cross. It is remarkable by its bell-tower in top of nave. | |
 | Saint-Marc's vault | | The vault Saint-Marc (Saint-Marcoul) is characterized by a lengthened plan. It is rebuilt in 1653 in the site of an old sanctuary. Some vestiges of 11th or 12th century are visible besides in the southern wall. As for the western frontage, it is entirely remade at the end of the 19 century. The frame and the roof were recently restored. | |
